GTL Tour the MIT Central Utilities Plant

GTL students, staff and faculty were taken on a guided tour of the MIT Central Utilities Plant, which is considered the heartbeat of the campus. It houses two 22 MW gas turbines, providing the campus with electricity, steam heating and cooling. The tour demonstrated the facility's state-of-the-art design to keep MIT's research and education powered with redundancy and sustainability.
